Hi! Call me Neevs. This blog follows my experiences navigating life and parenting as an expat.

I love talking all things parenting! Raising kids whilst living abroad in a relatively unfamiliar culture thousands of miles away from my family has been an interesting journey.

As an expat, I straddle two different countries and cultures. I hail from a small, beautiful town in Southern India. I moved to the United States in my mid twenties when I married my gorgeous husband, who was living and working here at the time. We have two beautiful children and in our house we try and embrace both Indian and the American way of life.

I love to travel, read, eat, and think random thoughts. I’m a science and history  junkie. Skincare is my most recent obsession. Coffee, chocolates and milkshakes keep me happy.

I want this blog to be a positive space where I can have open, honest talks about life in general and share my insights and experiences on parenting. The purpose of this blog is not to tell someone what to do but to share what works and what doesn’t work for me, and hopefully make for a fun and interesting read.
